SLMDI brings together the Latin American community and proposes an interdisciplinary approach to the problems and socio-technical practices that emerge from the rapid advance of information and communication technologies in society. The event is part of XLIV CLEI. It is an event dedicated to the discussion of new methods in the area of data and information management. It takes a broad view of its theme, stretching from data organisation, modelling and recovery to data and information recovery and analysis.
