CLTM

XXV Latin American Contest of Master Thesis

The XXV Latin American Master Thesis Contest (CLTM) is an annual event held within CLEI 2018. The objective is to spread and transmit the work of Latin American students who have recently completed their Master's thesis in computer science.

Students who have graduated or have a graduation date in the period between April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018, from Master programs of Latin American and Caribbean Universities members of CLEI, can participate in this contest. The submitted works must be individual (not group), and thematic in any of the areas of computing (disciplinary areas defined in computer curriculums as established by the IEEE / ACM).

Participants must have fully completed the curriculum for the date of submission of the work. To participate in the contest you must present a summary of the thesis work. The contributions will be judged by an Evaluating Committee, who will choose the 3 best works.

The awarded works will be presented orally and published in the minutes of the XLIV Latin American Informatics Conference (CLEI 2018), which will take place from October 1 to 5, 2018 at the Mackenzie Presbyterian University (Universidad Presbiteriana Mackenzie), San Pablo, Brazil. In order to receive the prize, it is a requirement to personally present the work in the CLEI 2018 conference.
