The inclusion of events associated with publication within the general proceedings of the CLEI conference in the IEEE or equivalent at the time will require that it be submitted by at least one CLEI member institution with the support of at least one country representative (if there are several institutions from different countries) or at least one of the CLEI working groups. The request for inclusion in the proceedings must be justified in terms of the subject matter addressed (different from the current tracks at the conference), with a clear statement of the objectives of the associated event and the scientific community it aims to reach: expected number of papers to be evaluated, expected number of papers to be accepted, format of presentations, composition of the program committee, mechanism for reviewing papers, among others. In order to finally be included in the proceedings, the following guidelines must also be met:
- Track in the proceedings and event.
- Acceptance rate: full papers 1/3, short papers 1/2.
- Shared chairs (at least one proposed by the CLEI CD).
- Coordinated under the supervision of the CLEI scientific chair (conf. General).
