CLEI understanding that the Working Groups (GT) are one of the most important processes of its community because they articulate around them specialists in the different scientific and technological development topics covered by research in the area of computer science, has created a program to finance and support the different activities that are developed in the GT. This program seeks to strengthen activities such as summer schools, research incentive programs and any other activity that the GT design to strengthen their activities. It is a fund that is executed every year and thus seeks to encourage the articulation of these networks and encourage their specific activities, and thus serve so that the scientific community and technological development around CLEI can see all their work reflected through the GT.
To apply for these funds, the GT must make a request to the Steering Committee (CD), where it must indicate: what is the reason, the expected impact of the activity and the results that would be obtained. The request may be signed or agreed upon by a representative of the GT, but it must be agreed upon by the majority of the GT members and the request must reflect that at least a significant number of GT members are supporting the request.
