GT 2: Software Engineering

Mission

Articulation, promotion, and dissemination of research in Software Engineering, in order to identify research trends, and facilitate the interaction and cooperation between academia and industry, encouraging practices for technological advancement.

Goals

  • Streamline CLEI’s activities in Software Engineering through projects, exchange programs, seminars, etc.
  • Integrate Software Engineering specialists from CLEI member universities.
  • Encourage the association of universities within CLEI.
  • Establish new topics and possible members of the program committee of the Latin American Symposium on Software Engineering (SLISW – Simposio Latinoamericano de Ingeniería de Software).
  • Suggest CLEI representatives for IFIP working groups.
