General Information about Registration

For information about registration fees, please click here. There are two categories for registration: Author and Attendee. Only people that live in Venezuela will be allowed to make the payment in bolivars, the Venezuelan currency. The rate that will be applied is the rate of the day of the registration.

If the person that registers is a member of IEEE or is part of an institution that is member of the CLEI, he/she will get a discount. The value of the discount will depend of the date of the registration (early registration and late registration). IEEE members will have to upload a PDF file into the registration system to show that their membership is active at the time of the registration.

For the gala dinner, people that register can have guests. For each guest, an additional US$ 30.oo (thirty US dollars) will be added to the registration fees.

People that live outside Venezuela must make a payment in US dollars. In this case, pay the fees to fundacioncleivenezuela@gmail.com through paypal. You will have to upload a proof of your payment into the registration system, so please generate a PDF file while doing the payment.

For payment in Venezuela (only for authors and attendees that live in Venezuela), make a transfer or a deposit to the following account. You will have to upload a proof of your payment into the registration system. If you make a online transfer, please generate a PDF file while doing the payment. In you make a deposit, please scan the voucher into a PDF file and upload it during the registration process.

Registration for authors

For each accepted paper, one author must register in this category (Author). When you register as author, you will be prompted to give the following information:

  • Conference and EasyChair ID of the paper: The paper ID is an integer that was generated by EasyChair when you submitted your paper for evaluation. You can find it in the emails sent by EasyChair to you or by entering EasyChair.
  • You register this paper as: For author of a unique paper, choose “First paper”. Authors that have several papers accepted in CLEI 2013 and that will be presenting them in the conference must register one of the paper as “First paper”, and any additional paper that he/she will be presenting in the conference as “Additional paper”. For additional papers, a discount will be applied by the registration system.
  • Do you want your ID to appear in the certificate: This option let you choose if you want your ID (e.g., passport information) to appear in the certificate. You can preview your certificate before registration by pressing “Preview Certificate” button at the end of the form. The certificate will appear bellow the button. Scroll down to see your certificate.
  • Proof of payment: Here, load a PDF file to show that you realized the payment (e.g.,  paypal transfer).
  • Preview Certificate: Before register, you must preview your certificate by pressing “Preview Certificate” button. A preview of your certificate will appear bellow the button. Scroll down to see your certificate. If you want to make any modification to your certificate, change the fields accordingly and press “Preview Certificate” button again.

Registration for Attendees

In the case of a registration as attendee, students (undergraduate and graduate) will get a discount. To cash in this discount, students will have to upload a PDF file into the registration system to show that they are pursuing studies at the time of the registartion.

When you register as attendee, you will be prompted to give the following information:

  • The attendee is a student: To get a discount as a student, the attendee will have to answer “Yes” to this question and upload a PDF file into the registration system to show that he/she is pursuing studies at the time of the registartion.
  • Do you want your ID to appear in the certificate: This option let you choose if you want your ID (e.g., passport information) to appear in the certificate. You can preview your certificate before registration by pressing “Preview Certificate” button at the end of the form. The certificate will appear bellow the button. Scroll down to see your certificate.
  • Proof of payment: Here, load a PDF file to show that you realized the payment (e.g., paypal transfer).
