Proceedings of:

SII - Argentine Symposium on Industrial Informatics (JAIIO)

“The ICT and Industrial sectors in cooperation towards the United Nations SDGs 2030 achievement”

CLEI and SADIO co-organize this event that aims at bringing together the Artificial Intelligence and Operations Research communities of Latin America in general and Argentina in particular in a forum to discuss ideas, experiences and research results among educators, researchers, students and industry representatives. The Argentine Symposium on Industrial Informatics (SII) is an open forum for researchers, practitioners and students that use and/or develop models and computer systems for industrial applications, both in academic and professional environments. The main objective of the symposium is fostering the interaction and exchange of ideas, experiences, and results of the professional and research activities of its participants in the area of Industrial Informatics, through technical sessions and discussion panels.

The SII 2017 will be held as part of the 46th Argentine Conference on Informatics (46th JAIIO) in Córdoba, Argentina. The theme of the SII 2017 is “The ICT and Industrial sectors in cooperation towards the United Nations SDGs 2030 achievement”. On September 25th 2015, the United Nations member states adopted a set of 17 specific goals, each with a specific set of targets, as part of a new sustainable development agenda (Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs). The ICT and Industrial sectors have a key role in order to effectively reach these goals.

Thus, the SII 2017 specially calls for works driven by SDGs. Also, as in every edition, the SII encourage authors to present innovative contributions which include the development of models, algorithms and information systems applied to supply chains, manufacturing processes and enterprise-wide systems.
