The Congress will be held in Santiago, Chile, locally organized by the Chilean Computer Science Society (SCCC)
and the most important local universities, Universidad de Magallanes and Universidad Católica del Maule. The
accepted papers of CIESC-2006 will be published in CD_ROM. The first page of the presentation was published
in a resumé document that contains only summaries.

In its thirteen edition presentations have been selected from more than 50 universities of 12 countries of Ibero-America.
The XIV CIESC renews the objective of bringing together academics and professionals dedicated to superior education
of undergraduate and graduate areas of technological and computer studies.
The Congress will include different activities,
emphasizing the technical sessions of work presentations, forums and discussion panels, as well as masterly lectures of
re-known personalities of computer academic environments.
The presentations can include topics of education in disciplines of Technological Information
and can refer, among others, to the following topics:
